I work with other linguists and with software engineers on semantic quality evaluation projects. In the grand scheme, we use machine learning and natural language processing to make sense of large corpora of unstructured linguistic data. Practically, this involves project management, dealing with contractors, assessing quality and providing feedback and reports, data analysis, automation and improvement of manual processes, and experiment design.
